These look so great! So do look a little sketchy… but at the same time, they look invigorating! Having personally stayed at numerous hostels all over the world, here are my recommendations:
1. Use the website hostelworld.com it seriously will help you and it gives great advice!
2. Meet the people who OWN the hostel. They will serve as a GREAT traveling tool and they will usually give you amazing places to go to sightsee and great places to experience the local cuisine.
3. Also, get to know the other travelers. Every great traveler has a great story and usually serves as a great inspiration. This is seriously one of my biggest recommendations… you don’t have to become best friends, but hear their story.
4. Embrace the simplicity hostels have to offer. You learn and experience more without all the extra plush anyways.
